Grace turned 12 on December 2, 2013 and she and her friends think Bibble from Barbie: Fairytopia is hilarious, even though I don’t think they’ve ever seen Barbie: Fairytopia.
Since I still had an LED base left over from the Uber Bet Plaque I made three years earlier, I decided to make her a birthday nightlight sign. This time I etched the acrylic using the 60W laser rather than the diamond-drag bit on the CNC. I think both methods work equally well, and the laser is faster to set up.
Happy with the design, I then made two more as Christmas presents for the kids’ school buddies.
