I designed this decorative 2-sided bowl in VCarve as a gift for my sister. I laminated two 4/4 padauk boards to crate a 2″ block (not realizing a dark glue line would be visible when it was carved). Worse, at the very end, I set a height incorrectly and gouged a chunk from the lower right corner. Fail, fail, win.
