My second MakerFaire was May 20-21, 2017, again in San Mateo.
In addition to Bob Clagett (who I had met two years earlier in Savannah), I got to spend time with some of my other YouTube heroes: Grant Imahara, Mark Rober, Laura Kampf, Peter Brown, April Wilkerson, Izzy Swan, Jess Uyeda, and the man who started it all, Dale Dougherty.
I again played with the latest 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC mills, and of course, soldered another Makey LED pin at RadioShack’s booth.
